About Talent Scout

Talent Scout Student care offers after school care services to students aged 7 to 14 years old.


We provide a homely environment to our students by offering a wide range of fun-filled activities during their stay at the centre.  Creative activities are incorporated holistically to develop a child’s physical, intellectual, social, moral and emotional needs. 
We are listed under Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and our centres are approved under Student Care Financial Assistance (SCFA) Administrators.

2.To provide supervised academic assistance, life skills and recreational activities to children in our care
3.To have trained teachers/supervisor who are able to identify children's need and provide a nurturing, family-like atmosphere which is stimulating and enriching for the children

Build With Customization In Study

Our key features at Talent Scout include supervised homework time, holiday outings/programmes, character development programme and fun activities to spur children's interest in learning. Priority for enrolment is given to children from low income and single-parent families. Eligible children can also receive government subsidies for the Talent Scout fees.

Our Mission

Talent Scout Student Care Centre has been in operation since January 2016. Our mission is to be a partner to working parents in providing a safe, homely and nurturing environment for school- going children to safeguard their basic care, to maximize their learning experience and to develop their potentials.

Our Objectives

1. To support working parents with a quality day care programme for their school- going children from Primary 1 to Primary 6; 
2. To provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children who do not have sufficient support and supervision from home;  
 3. To organize activities that enhance children’s physical, intellectual, social and emotional development;   
4. To build in children good moral values, sense of responsibility and capability of self-reliance and resilience;  
5. To strengthen parent-child relationship

FAQ's

  • Does the centre organise any enrichment class or activities during the school holidays? +

    During June and December school holidays, there will be excursions/workshops and other activities for children to sign up at a cost in addition to our fee. Parents will be informed of these activities. 

  • Is there any subsidy for lower income group? +

    Yes.  Student Care Fee Assistance Scheme (SCFA). 
  • What is the age group do you accept in the Student Care Centre? +

    Age between 7 to 14 years old (Primary 1 to Secondary 2).

  • What is the operation time of the Student Care Centre? +

    Monday to Friday 7:30am to 7pm 
    The Centre is closed on all public holidays and another 5.5 days of centre closure as approved by MCYS. Parents will be notified of the closure dates in advance. In addition, the centre will be operate half a day from 7:30am to 1.30pm on the eves of New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year and Christmas..

    The first week of the month to the teacher. A manual receipt will be issued as evidence of payment..

    No. They are not refundable but the deposit will be used to offset the final month fee.
